enrich the unwary
with wisdom to withstand the storm.
concur with the stubborn,
there is no use wasting breath.
give rain to the endless desert
in need of precious moisture.
show direction for the lost and wandering
with a map to unmistakable salvation.
capture a breath-taking vision
that even a blind man can see.
play a magnificent symphony
that even the deaf can hear.
create solitude for the lonely,
who wish for contentment alone.
bring company for the extroverts
who wishes only to please their guests.
give a paintbrush
to those yet untouched by the gift of art.
give a simple phone call
to those who have been neglected.
lend a couple of dollars
to the homeless living on the streets.
present a toy
to your neighboring boy.
send someone happiness
they have never witnessed before.
tell someone you love them,
that they are who you adore.
carpe diem, my friend,
like you will die tomorrow.
do the world a favor,
share the joy to make it better.
happiness shared is hapiness gained.

wrote this in my head a while back. enjoy. more to come.
ray of light
thinner and thinner.
more brittle than a minute ago.
this ray of light is slowly dimming.
through this ray of light, i saw your face,
felt the warmth of the breeze stroke my skin,
and within
happiness bloomed, tragedy erased.
tightrope walking over a magnificent scenery
on this fragile thread of light.
one wrong move and i will fall with the night
as the light fades to nothing; i will be lonely.
hanging onto this ray of hope,
i am afraid:
i am no acrobat-- pretty soon, i will fall.

blue, then orange.
finally, a rosy-colored sky
as the face of the day falls to slumber.
this hour, this moment: sunset.
but felt within, something more like love.
a rosy sky for our rosy cheeks,
have we been blushing?
or could it have been a reflection?
the rose of the sunset has been planted in my soul.
there, my tears will water it,
and my heart will tend it.
i will not let it wither.
it will not die.
