cloudy nights are transient, as are sunny days and moonless skies. and if everything is only temporary, i wonder how much longer this span of time will hold. rain on the asphalt like oil paintings, but only for a moment before the artist wipes it away, and that sparrow who wished to fly, now only encaged in its own reflection. sights through a telescope define that the earth is round, but silence from a lover, so shows imbalance, that one side gives all and the other, indifferent. makes one wonder if the telescope lies, because this balance beam tipping over can't happen if the world truly is round. but if these are still merely temporary things, then perchance, this feeling is only temporary.
